its ya jack LOL :(

sorry, i would say its boot release or fuel flap release??

Very interesting.........never seen it before in any 33 i looked at.

Have you tried to follow were the brake cable leads to?

Maybe it's a Nismo sports muffler valve/noise control. I know the 34's had this option, never seen it in a 33.

Any unusual buttons on the dash?

Keep us posted

Can't be aftermarket.. Definately is stock.

That bracket fits in too well to be aftermarket..

+1 fot following the cable..

OH!

WAIT!

S1 or 2?

Because I know that nissan put in a exhaust valve mechanism that open under WOT and stays closed at lower RPM to help muffle an RB25 metallic resonating between 2-3 grand RPM

Its a series 2 96' r33

Id certainly say its stock and it doesn't connect to the aerial at all

So id being going with exhaust valve, would this explain when it hits 2grand and to about 3 grand it makes quite a loud... almost vibrating loud noise?

I just assumed it was because the exhaust is stock

Thanks for your replies, at least im pretty certain on what it is now lol

Hmm thought id get dad to check if it moves or does 'something' while i sat in the car revving around 2grand to like up to 5.... it didnt move... Soo ill still assume its an exhaust valve but i would have assumed it moved or did something at least lol
