Popping!

has any one got any idears why wen i gas my rb20 and it hits 11 psi i get a poping noise through my exhaust.alot!,then every time this happens a lack of power each time.

dont no wat it could be pump,tune,leakn intercooler pipes? dont no

first thing to check is your spark plugs

then coil packs

^^ +1 had the same prob when i first got my 33, new plugs gapped at 8mm = purring like a kitten.

its auto, stock ecu..

would it be hitting fuel cut?

wat revs does it do it at??

as i herd another auto do the same on the cruise sat night!

na i heard it hit fuel cut wen i got it this is more different it sometines does it b4 7000rpm

just grab cheap ones and replace them more often

i got dear ones because i got them at a good price Copper is fine though

i run $3 each copper plugs! runs sweet!

problem is tho i put dear plugs in 10 months go n feel it mite not b that but il change them anyway

what gap were they and have you just recently upped your boost

only up 1 bar n dont no the gap they wer irrinium thnk thats how it spelt

2) up 1bar from stock would put you over 16psi

please be more specific or else Damo will have to e-spell your ass

ment to say 1 psi from stock 11psi not much

regap then too .7 and they should be fine

i suspect they came with a gap of 1.1mm way to big for non standard boost
