Is There Something Special About This Gt-r (r32)

Hi All,

These pics are the plates on my mates R32 GT-R. Does that Nismo plate signify something special? Not sure if it's possibly an N1 or something? I've posted the VIN up to be FASTed.

I thought Nissan, not Nismo, built N1 GTR's?

It could be a plate put on GTR's tuned at Nismo's workshop/s in Japan for ID purposes.

Someone else will have the same thing 100%. Maybe this GTR was an experiment gone wrong and makes 1000awkw?

I found another thread on the same thing in Skyline Discussion. Apparently it's for a Nismo twin plate clutch.

yeah, it's a part number sticker. lol. someone just stuck it on the firewall...

It's actually a metal plate as my 32 has it too you can read my thread if you want more info

i got the exact same thing on my gtr although i have a nismo tripple plate clutch

well it says shingure tokurachi chiseshito or something like that. from my limited japanese it's single plate clutch. either way, it's a part number sticker/plate/whatever that someone stuck on the firewall after they fitted that part to the car.

Its a Nismo Twin plate clutch.

I may not have a good grasp of the spoken language but my reading is improving.
