Stock Muffler On A Tuned Gtst

Hi all,

I want to put a stock 33 muffler instead of my 3 inch cannon because i want less police attention. My question is if my power fc was tuned with the exhaust would putting the stock exhuast back on really mess with the tune?

It'll restrict the car heavily, as the car will be now tuned with a free flowing exhaust.

Make sure you take it easy, and back off the boost.

Just put a decent muffler (two of them) in and have both a quiet/flowing exhaust, and a good tune

Maybe a Varex muffler would be more what i want?

IMO not really, they are loud still until you close it off, then horrdily restrictive again (plus illegal to have a controllable baffle)

So do it right, two mufflers, no cannons, and have a quiet exhaust that flows

Am i looking at a whole new exhaust system or just replacing the end with a splitting pipe? How much and who can do it?

any exhaust place can cut a pipe and weld a muffler in there.

after the cat and before the rear muffler, get 2 of these put on..

There are some good quality straight through mufflers also.

Doesn't have to be offset to quieten it down.
