well my turbo seems to be on the way out. I was thinking that if it is indeed, and if I have to replace it, I'll need to also get a fmic after all these years.

What I need to know is what kind/brand of cooler is available that doesn't require the reo bar or front bumper to be hacked apart, so everything still looks nice and stock.

And while we're here, what kind of turbo should I be looking at. I know high flow is an option, but what comparable, new turbos are there?

Help an SAU OG out

what is your power goal?

if you are sticking to 200rwkw - cheapest easiest option is R34 GTT stock side mount intercooler. - cost is about $150

a front mount with no cutitng of holes and reo would be the return flow type coolers from

Cooling pro - Just Jap - $550

Apexi - ??

ARC - $many many

Blitz - ??

AVO - ??

here are some pics of what I mean.

Blitz - I can't find any Blitz return flow ones..

As for turbo upgrades... well.

there is a dyno results thread for almost every combination you can think of up above.. go see what turbo's people have and what power they make.

then depending on power goals and money, you can buy what you need.
