hi guys,

i just replaced my fuel pump as the other pump became noisy & the car would not rev past 3000rpm...so i replaced it with the same pump (bosch 044) but im not sure if there is an issue running this pump submerged in the tank as ppl here refer to it as the 'external pump setup'.

does anyone else run the same pump internal?

They are a designed to 'push' fuel not 'suck' it from a pressureless source...but will be fine...

done it in our old set-up...no probs at all...run 13.5V to it via a relay and separate feed though.
