Removing Oil Off Back Seats..., How To?

spilt some oil in the back seat, most of the oil is under the seat, the sponge bit... also got some on the fabric side...

the seats are already out, what do u guys recommend we use to get as much as we can out?

Eek... no good man.

Best thing would be to soak the whole thing with something like concentrated simple green (or something else that breaks grease/oil down and wont be harsh on fabric), and hose it down with decent pressure.

Then stand the seat up longways so it all drips downwards.

You'll probably have to repeat this a few times though, to get the oil to break down and flush it out.

or try to rent those water steam cleaners at safeway and use a fabric degreasing additive maybe??

Yah, soft detergent, lots of water and dried in the sun on a warm day. The longer it it takes to dry, the higher the chance of mold.
