Hi guys,

I recently bought some HID's which I began to fit to my car. Normal light globes when fitted to my car must first be plugged into a small bracket thing which has two pin things coming off it which lock it into place. The HID globe has its own wiring coming straight out of the back of the globe so I cant put it in the bracket... this means I have no pin things to hold the globe in place....

Anyone else had this issue and come up with a solution? My mates R32 the globe locks into the headlight which has the pins as part of the headlight so its no issue with his (also r32 projector style). So many different fkn headlights on r32's.

Any help greatly appreciated

I'm guessing you've got headlights which take the H1 globe?

Edit: I think the link below will be of some help.

Yeah they are H1.

Yeah that thread is basically exactly what I was looking for. Thanks man!

I knew any possible solution would be a fair bit of f*king around. But at least using the existing clip will mean it will stay in place and point the right spot (not dazzle other drivers as much etc).

Looks like I have a project this weekend!
