^ nice post mate i was scratching my head for ages wondering about the "12th year"
That makes sense...
LEGEND!

Hehe!!

No worries, all good!

I must thank HPI Magazine to help me understand how to work it out.

All this just to know what year the timing belt was replaced... They could have just wrote April, 2000... LOL!

:P

Yeah I thought it would have been 12/4 as in December 2004 @ 63k. But the engine has 100k on it now. So I needed to know if its been done. The waterpump and gasket look 40k old, not 100k old. So that makes sense.

But yeh, big thanks. Saves me ~350$ , don't have to do it for another 60k, now that I know. Timing belt won't be likely to instantaniously snap and blow up the engine anytime soon...

Yeah they say change it every 100,000 km's.

So since its was changed at 63,155 km's, you won't need to change it again till 163,155 km's.

Yeah your timing belt will be fine. But you can always check to see what brand they used...

I bought my car at 113,000 km's, 1990 model and had a Nismo Timing belt.

There was no date when it was changed or any stickers, so to be safe I just changed it to a Genuine Nissan Skyline R32 GTR Timing belt as you can be safe with that.
