Engine Fan Problems :(

hi guys, i got a problem, this problem is...

the engine fan seems to be spinning at the same rate as the engine is spinning, which you could imagine pumps out some crazy rocket fan noises at higher speeds.

is there anyway to fix this? im asumeing a new fan is in order.

it's probably a worn out fan clutch.

think you can get a RB30 one from Repco that fits...

id just buy a new fan. if you fix the old one its just going to give you a head ache later.

no you don't replace the whole fan.

you replace the fan clutch - and keep the blades bit...
