Hey guys,

Been having problems with my back brakes.

Here are the symtoms:

. Brakes produce clunking noises every tire revolution when i press on halfway on the brakes

. Brakes produce sliding metal noises whn i press a quarter way through

. Brakes produce ringing noise when i im not pressing on them while driving

Finding the problem quite odd as the brakes pads are new. They were changed just before i bought the vehicle.

What could it be? Something loose that i could possibly tighten myself? (reassembly?)

Help! Its really annoying.

Thankksss

Clunking is usually a loose caliper

Thats normal for pad on disc. If its excessive the pads might not be worn in properly or could be be the wrong size (thickness etc)/cheapies altogether.

Caliper piston could be getting jammed and not retracting off the hub properly, see if you can get rid of the noise first before trying to rectify this
