Hi all,

just took my turbos off my GTR..and was thinking as i have Trust turbos..which are only oil cooled well have oil inlet n return to n from the block as to standard turbos or HKS that use water too cool turbo as well.

Would using small oil coolers for each turbo be a good idea???or is that just was waste of time/money n effort.

ive attached a simple drawing to illustrate

Trust dont tell you to fit a cooler, so i wouldnt be.

You just bring in another element of unreliability to the car with stated above.

The reason the oil lines are larger is to counter for no water, so already covered.

Waste of time/money etc :P

Your suggestion has two coolers; between turbo and sump.

Seeing as ANY o.cooler setup runs the core just after the sump -> o.pump... why not just run a normal, oil cooling setup?

IE, normal oil cooling setups run essentially the same way as your proposed, more complicated setup IMO
