New Diff?

hey guys,

i just bought my first skyline and have noticed a massive diff whine, my friend is taking it to his workshop tomorrow to have a look but id say i will need a new centre, does anyone know where i can get a cheap second hand diff as i dont have funds to get mine rebuilt. ( i have no idea what it would cost either)

Ill have a look at the condition of my centre I pulled out, but I think it was stuffed, never know. Suggest getting it shimmed when you do it though, should return some of that slippy goodness.

hey mate thanks for that but i have just worked out its my rear right wheel bearing, i would have rathered it be the diff as its a bitch to replace the wheel bearing (so ive heard)

I'll have a stock diff coming out very shortly, should you still find the need for one

i wont be needing a new diff but its costing me 150 bucks just for one bearing, and everyone has told me about 2.5 hours labour. sounds a bit steep, but everyone has said they are a bitch to get out.
