Just have a couple of quick questions to try and save multiple trips to repco as this is my first service on the stag

• How many L of engine oil am i going to need to get?
  
• How much diff oil?

Changed the engine oil over the weekend - ~4L of Motul 8100 EX-EED. Runs beautifully. Better than any oil I have used to date.

Dunno about diff though. Sorry.

Mines a S1 RS4, so would it use about the same as your M35?

most engine oils come in 5L containers, it should take about 4.5L

is there any particular reason you are touching the diff?

Not really... part from dono when it was last done as im a new owner and dont have any service records..

i can't remember my diff being looked at ever on either car. i was just curious.

when it starts dripping out of hte side port, its full.

Im going to do the diffs just so i know that the fluids fresh...

Ive decided im going to use Catrol Edge sport oil. Good choice?

on a stock diff, any random oil will work. its just an open or viscious.

i use greddy or veruspeed oil im my tranny and diff.

you can tell the difference 100% over a normal brand oil in shifting smootheness IMO.
