sprint32
Sweet.... any news on your plans for water injection. I'm a huge fan of this idea, I want to try it on mine when I get it back on the road. BOOSTD
I am working on water injection right now. I set up intercooler sprays last night and ran 112mph with it on and 107 without. Guest INASNT
Boostd With your intercooler spray are you using the rear window spray motor as power source and 1 or 2 nozzles? BOOSTD
yep, exactly. took ten minutes to setup. I only used one jet. will be setting up 3 in the future and an anti-drip valve... grrr Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/22706-350-turbo-made-253rwkw-9bar/page/6/#findComment-781732 Share on other sites
2rismo
and an anti-drip valve... grrr I'm running two that come on on a very hi-tech and up-market human-switch (rear window washer). 2 x garden variety (literally) sprinkler mist jets, some plastic washer tube and the plastic one way valve out of a mates water injection. He doesn't need it....I think.... Works a treat when I remember to use it... EnricoPalazzo
hmm sounsds like a thing i might mess with. i was reading somewhere ages ago, that they recommend spending a little extra and by brass fittings over plastic as the spray pattern is meant to be very improtant in heat dissapation? I used the washer switch at wsid, will be making a new switch on the w-end. Instant: I don't have water returning... Dean: you are the biggest copy cat ! I will call you "mini matt". Your turn to do something I can copy.....maybe not the sticky taped boost gauge line though. lol Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/22706-350-turbo-made-253rwkw-9bar/page/6/#findComment-784376 Share on other sites

NINOBROWN
If i was to do the same modifications on my standard turbo, would i get the same amount of power as doing the same thing to a vg30 turbo? considering that the vg30 has a 42mm exhaust turbine and the standard skyline turbo has a 47mm. BOOSTD
opps my bad, VG30bb and RB25 are the same 42mm not 47mm. The VG30 would still make more power tho due to less back pressure with bigger A/R exhaust housing.
