I'm just bringing me. Went with a couple of mates last time but they are both too cheap to come this time. Ones a uni student, ones and apprentice mechanic.

I'm keen to share an appartment with someone who doesn't snore, doesn't fart, and doesn't mind if I do either. hmmmm, looks like I may need a single room......

Guys if you own your own business it is possible to do the Melbourne Grand prix trip tax deductible. Sponsor a race car for a few hundred dollars and then go to see your sponsorship dollars and company signage. A few mates and I do it each year.

Best accomodation with secure parking is at Southbank appartments only a few mins by tram from everywhere including track.

Best way to get there Grand Prix rally www.grandprix.com.au (follow cars thread to rally site) and watch Peter Moore and his R34 N1 win it gain.

I'm keen to share. Seriously though, FLY. It's like $90 each way, which works out cheaper than driving. I also wouldn't mind going down a day or two early.

If we stay somwhere close to the track we won't really need a car anyway. Drving to the track sucks. Drving at night in order to go out sucks too. It's far better to just tram it, or share taxi's.

Brabham stand before Oct 31st... that is $579 (x2 as I'll get shot if I don't take the GF) which is $1158.

Do we need to book accom and pay for it before the 31st too???
