Coilover Issues,,

Hey SAU members,

I just installed some g4 street spec coilovers into my r33gtst s1..

now they mount in fine, twisted em down to lower it a lil, front sits good.

Though the back is very very solid/stiff in the rear. to the extent that when i turned off the driveway it lifted the whole other wheel side!.,,

some help plz!!

im hoping its just the spring adjustment that needs to come downwards alot..

Goto a suspension shop, its pretty typical for wheel lifting with stiff suspension

thats quite normal for stiff coilovers. i dont think you can do much really cause its been valved/designed like that. stiffer usually means less travel needed and softer means more travel to absorb bumps.

does it bug you that much? i just learnt to live with it, has never bothered me yet

thanks for the feedback guys, Ive managed to adjust the left rear seems ok. yet the right is completely lifting the side of the car off the ground up in the air! lol, i dont think thats safe then over bumps corners etc,, i think that one rear right is maybe faulty..

am checking out now with justjap, gonna go in the garage n give another test out,,
