Hey guys,

I no there have probably been heaps of threads like this one before but i'm new to the skyline scene and just wanted a bit of advice. I'm going to be purchasing either an R32 GTS-T or an R33 GTS-T within a couple weeks for no more than 10k. I'm just wondering (if you have owned or drivin both the r32 and r33) what are some of the advantages and dissadvantages of each. and what are your personal opinions on each (try not to be biast  )

I have checked out carsales.com.au/carpoint.com.au etc and it seems that the r33 gtst's are nearly the same price as the r32 gtst's. I love the look of the 32 but then again the r33 has the 2.5 ltr compared to the 2.0 ltr.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

I started off owning a r32 gtst 4 door then tried a r33 gtst and after a year or so got another r32 gtst but 2 door this time.

The huge difference i felt going from a 32 to a 33 then back to the 32 again was the amount of extra grunt the 33 had over the 32. The extra capacity does help.

The 33 is newer as they go up to 98 so if you got a 33 they would more than likely be in better nick and be a fresher car.

For me the interior and exterior of the 33 was nothing flash to look at stock and is rather boring. Too round and overly fat in my opinion. After you put a kit on it it does help a bit however i could definitly feel the extra weight it was carrying though.

For me i will always love the 32 shape and style and would have one over a 33 hands down. Sure you might have more grunt out of the box for the 33 and it might be newer but if your heart is set on the looks of a 32 then i would say thats what you should get. You can always swap in a bigger engine later and still keep the sexy lines of the 32.

Plus everyone seems to have a 33.

just my 2 cents :P
