my favourite place is on parramatta road driving in the opposite direction, hate going to the city

Although the mrs loves dragging me along to Hyde Park on the odd occasion to enjoy the atmosphere and I admit it's nice

I have a sort of tradition with my dad that once a month He and I go and grab a bite to eat from Harrys Cafe in Haymarket, don't really know how it started but it's just something we do lol

Umm, favourite place just to chill out would have to be Cargo Bar in darling harbour

otherwise the highway down to wollongong would be the best cruise,

i like being home with the family, when we go out my dad and i always start fighting.

actually Im also gonna say my oldies place.

theres nothing like getting an old fashin home cooked dinner, and having a massive garage plus a pool.

work on car, go for a swim, have a nice home cooked meal.

then pub.

then racetrack

local pub.

otherwise my home/garage.

+1 on all accounts... including your oldies place :D

Hmm lets see, La Perouse .. Brighton-Le-Sands (past bay street) .. And people might find this weird, but just cruising it on the M5 towards the Airport, going inside the airport for a lil cruise then going back to Bankstown through the M5.

Haha, usually take that trip when i gotta wait for the mrs to get ready just for lunch -.-

lol.

going inside the airport?

as in through the departure/arrivals lanes for a cruise?

yeah...weird...!!!

I do that too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your not alone!! ahah. If you see another skyline randomly driving through the airport in the middle of the night, it will probably be me! I love the lights and the feel of driving through there.

Often followed by parking at Krispy Kremes and gorging donuts! :(

Going through the city on a nice quiet night (Monday, Tuesday etc, definately not Fri, Sat, Sun) and just seeing all the lights, driving along some nice roads, and stopping for some ice cream or pancakes :)

My absolute favourite drive though would have to be an SAU cruise. Chubbs' one last year along bells line of road to the pie shop was great, or any drive to a DECA or Texi is fantastic

    • They usually get made by hand as part of any such swap.
    • Was planning on getting an R35 MAF and the adapter, should this be okay? Also any idea where I could get my hands on an intake pipe?
    • I mean yes, if you're starting from scratch on an unknown engine yes you don't need to be doing all kinds of math in the background but if you're doing relatively minor changes like AFM + injectors + boost up with some aftermarket turbos it takes quite a bit of math if you want to do something like maintain OEM fuel + timing tables but compressed and then a bit more load scale up top. I think I've spent too much time working on big engineering nightmares though so I'm a big fan of trying to constrain the scope of whatever work I'm doing as much as possible and trying to get it right before moving on. For example, a local owner just did the usual E85 + single turbo conversion to his R32 GTR and nearly burned his car to the ground doing some spirited driving up the local mountains. Turbine is unshielded and too close to the hood insulation. It's tough to balance "just get the project done" and "seemingly small details can cause massive setbacks I'm not willing to deal with".
    • No idea about Neil's steering wheel, but I have the same behaviour in the Stagea. I doubt it has ever been messed with so might be normal. Indicating to turn right at a roundabout and correcting even a little bit to the left to go around will cancel the indicator. Never considered it an issue other than it being a bit odd.
    • Does anyone know if this is off centered? Looks like it, when I indicate to go right, but turn my steering wheel slightly left it cancels (was always like that even before I started messing around with it) was wondering if anyone else has the same issue?
