HACI'S

there is no better. ever.

cnr St George's rd and Bell St, opposite Bells St maccas. Look for two sweaty arab men in a caravan. I swear they must lace that shit with cocaine, cos I'm addicted as fuck to em.

If its not in a lebanese bread/pide then its not a kebab. GTFO with that pansy ass souvlaki shit.

Respect.

They don鈥檛 taste as good these days in the newer caravan. They were heaps better when they were in the back of that truck and didn鈥檛 have access to running water in the truck. The mixture of uncleanliness and sweat dripping from them probably made them taste incredible back in the day. Although they still taste phenomenal.

Stalactites is hit and miss for a souva IMO.

The meat is really fatty and lots of crappy offcuts and grissle at times. I go there a fair bit cause @ 4am CBD when im working graveyards... not a lot open so i kinda have to live with it and take the gamble sometimes

i HATE the dodgy kebab joins that do the imitation meat, that stuff that looks more like shit than actual food!

Nobel's, greek place (keilor rd) do a good souva if your down that way, near la porchetta/chatreuse. Always pretty good with decent meat cuts

I'm at a different site atm and they got kebabs for everyone from some place in Reservoir the other week.. I had no idea what I was eating but it didn't kill me so it must be alright haha.

Think that must have been my first kebab ever.. last time I had a souvlaki was years ago on Lygon St at some stupid hour of night.

Sydney's North Shore is pretty anti kebabs so never really got into them when I was growing up..

Meanwhile some of you are scary, I can't think of anything worse than those kebab caravans that are open at 4am. So never going to Bell St either... both sides of that corner are eyesores with the riced up lancers anyway haha.

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30掳 silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30掳 silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
