My Nm34 Dynoed At 132kw At All 4's.

Recommended Posts

Had a club dyno day yesterday so I thougth what the heck, i'll put the Stag on the rollers. As expected it did quite well for a 100% stock car. A/F's are good, but I found it surprising when boost hit 14psi, then tapered off.

Anyway, dyno sheets up!

Christ I dunno how I wrote NM34, perhaps I was thinking about the R34 coming.. lol

I'm not sure about the boost running between the models. Some ppl have said theirs run much less that 14 psi while others have seen their running similar boost to mine.

So I guess it will be good to get to the bottom of this hey.

14psi as well?!

140awkw @ 10psi with a hi flow turbo but everything else stock for my (m35) RS Four...

Not quite sure why I feel so confused...

and you thought I was crazy when I said I got 14-15psi on the boost gauge.................

I am told that standard is 0.8bar (11psi). I think that is what they taper to but they definatley have a big boost in the mid range where they see 14-15psi.

Just filled up this mornng (I forgot to check on Wednesday last week)...

633km's, 70L = 11.06l/100km. Not too bad considering I did not drive to conserve fuel.

Yeah, I was thinking of re-connecting the boost controller.

I miss that kick in the arse at 3200rpm... It was disconnected "just to be safe..."

As an aside, what would 140rwkw equate to at the fly? How do you work it out?

I have heard that the power loss would be around 40% through the drive train.

To my mind, that would work out to be just over 230kw at the fly.... Would this be about right?

Power loss is not a percentage but a fixed amount of power - I think SK estimated 70kw for the Series I 4 wd
