3" FIA approved with centre rotary release are not ADR approved.

The only ones that meet the ADR are the ones with standard seat belt style centre release and these are usually 2" and much cheaper than 3".

That said... I've only ever used 3" with rotary release and never been a problem when Police at looked at the cars, but might be a different issue if a Transport Inspector took a look.

cheers for that mate, I read also that i still have to keep the factory seatbelt and plug?... even though it doesn't need to be used?

I reckon you'd only need to keep the standard belt if you want to use the rear drivers side seat for a passenger as the harness would get in the way otherwise unless you had the car signed off as a two or three seater as some Targa cars are.

I'd keep it fitted too... in my experience you get over the harness pretty quick and a standard belt is much nicer if you had to drive from Hobart to Launceston etc.
