We will be running the day as an 'open pit lane' day, but we will also have 4 qualified (Certificate 3 and 4) instructors with lots of experience.

Our regular instructors include - Two times Konica V8supercar champ Dean Canto, 2004 Australian Sports Sedan Champion and outright Sandown lap record holder Darren Hossack, 2007 Porsche Carrera Cup Champion Dave Reynolds, 1998 Australian Formula Ford and 2005 Konica V8Supercar Champ Adam Macrow.

We also provide lunches, tea / coffee / soft drinks , flaggies and Racesafe medical / rescue crew.

Typically on one of our trackdays you'll get around 200+ kilometers of track driving for the day.

You do not need a CAMS or ASSA licence to participate in our High Performance Training and Track Driving Days.

You also dont require any special mods to your car for our days.

The format we run to is: 3 groups of fifteen drivers, twenty minutes of track time per hour.

Start time is 8.30 am for safety briefing, track is open from 9.00 am until 4.00pm.

Do you rekkin people can come to watch, Because i wouldnt mind if i could get some pictures on the day.

I am very interested :D, I have never been to one so any info would be great ,do we need to bring helmet or is it supplied,

and do you need to a have a fire extinguiser fitted in the car.

And can you bring a friend lol

I know you cant have any one in the car with you, But to watch iam not sure.

I did the track day on the 12th of July and you can have as many spectators as you like. So take your camera crew with you. They allowed us to have a passenger hot lap on the day which was good too. I'm not sure if that's something that happens all the time or not. Anyway it was a good fun day and you get to drive your car as fast as you can

Hi....what is it that you get taught, as ive never done any track work and have no idea what to expect.....

Also what am i most likely going to need to replace after the day???

( tyres, brake pads? oil change??)

^^^none of the above pending the condition of each before you go there. Make sure you have plenty of tread on your tyres, plenty of meat on your pads and that you're up-to-date with a service. It never hurts to change oil before and after a track day though. Be very careful not to put your handbrake on in the pits or you'll be very likely warp your rear rotors :blink:

They teach you when to begin breaking, what lines to take through a corner, when to accelerate again and when to change gear. It's a very informative and enjoyable day, you'll want to go back.

Thanks for the tip i didnt know that and i would of put my handbrake on 110%. :blink: .

    • HKS trigger kit should be very easy to integrate with a Link. It's a 36-2 crank trigger. Hard part is finding the motivation to take off the timing belt and everything on the front of the engine to install it. You also need to cut out a hole in the oil pump housing so the sensor can read the trigger wheel. Changing out the cam sensor for a 24 tooth setup is probably good enough but as others have mentioned depending on what underlying assumptions are changed it becomes more of a problem. Reading the crank state off of the cam is an abstraction that works in the general case, but if you have an edge case it makes less and less sense. There is a GTX2860 gen 2 that can take a compact 5 bolt housing so it's direct bolt on but I'm not 100% sure of what's involved. Peak compressor efficiency drops off a bit on these turbos vs -5s, 77% vs 73% but you get way, way wider region of operation. The -5s have a really strange surge line in their compressor map that is all over the place. If you think the hot side on the -5s aren't open enough you can try the Tomei T550B turbos which a local tuner seems to be happy with:
