Hey guys, as the title states, i believe these turbos have an oil feed restrictor built in yeah?

My question is that i have this weird spring loaded (kinda looks like a valve if you look at it) type banjo that bolts into the turbo oil feed and want to know if its necessary to use it, or can i just use a normal banjo bolt and the turbo will resrict oil sufficiently.

Cheers

genuine garrett 3071's have the restrictor built in [or so I've been told on these forums].

Your bolt that goes through the banjo and screws into the block will - usually - also have a restrictor in it.

I never used a non return valve for my GT3076, used normal [well normalish] speedflow fittings with braided lines.
