Coolant/heater Hoses Just Keep Breaking?

Hi guys

Since my car has been imported (R33 GTS-T) i keep having problems with all my heater/coolant hoses, they all keep getting pin size holes, its been a different hose everytime but over the last 2 months this will be the 3rd different hose..?? just wondering if anything could be causing this?? or is this just result of all of them old and brittle and just never been changed before? probably a good idea to put the car into a workshop and get them all changed?

Stupid question i know. Just never had this problem before, and its quite annoying to get to the tricky ones around behind the block

It's probably the result of the Japs not using corrosion inhibiter in the cooling system. The acidic water in Japan eats the hoses from the inside out.

Best bet is to replace the lot, now.

Could also be a blocked radiator cap pressure releif. try a different radiator cap

thanks guys, i will try and locate this small leak today and then replace and buy a new cap, hopefully this small fix will help.

also check for electrolysis in the cooling system that can also play a huge role in the problem u are havin.
