I can't/won't be going over for various reasons, but someone might be available.

CoDrivers Required

QUIT Targa West has been approached by a number of Drivers searching for available CoDrivers. If you're interested in taking up the challenge email [email protected] with your details and a brief outline of your experience.

im keen to stay on the road for once. we werent stupidly slow without a teratrip either. but i never want to do that again.

I did an event without a terratrip once, i managed somehow to become an expert at counting 100m distances in my head. it gives you a headache though!

Don't really like this approach, i'd kinda prefer to know who the drivers are before putting my name out... obviously there is a reason why they don't/struggling to get a nav?

I agree Timmeh, but I am sure if someone asked for a list of those drivers who are looking, they'd be happy to oblige. If they didn't, they'll find it difficult to fill the seats.

What are you talking about Woo?!?!?!

It can be a little risky but only if you don't do your homework- these guys are not always looking for a nav this way because no one wants to run with them!

This is how my seat for Wrestpoint this year came about. I was put in touch with the Red Back racing guys after letting Octagon know I was keen to compete but found my self seatless (one of the downsides of Steve only competing in Targa).

Geoff had plenty of racing experience, but was new to rally, decided to compete at late notice as prep for Targa, and just didn't have the contacts established to sort out someone with late notice.

I did a bit of asking around, chatted extensively to him about how we was planning to take the event, what he wanted to get out of it etc - it all added up and we ended up having a fun, safe run.

Personal recommendations are definitely always better, but putting your name out there if your regular driver doesn't compete in specific events can work if you approach it carefully?

I still haven't locked in a bloody Nav!

I'm keen to have David Catchpole sit beside me, he just needs to slip it past the Bride.

He's a great mate, a serious laugh (is one of the original Taswegians), loves a beer, and is a fantastic driver. Has never navvied though, so if we put this crew together, we'll be there for the laugh mainly and to rip some rubber off the thing

Mt Buller down hill - should be an excelent wake up call every morning!

Me thinks we need bigger brakes! We set em on fire going up Lake Mountain.

Looks like an interesting course, some of those roads near Eildon are epic, just make sure y'all bring your iPods, the liasons are long hehe

I heard they're not allowing strokers and sequentials in.... shock horror! LOL

oh no's, how will all those Targa spec emo's on my105 sell now?

Anyone know if Weeksy is converting to the super turefo spec's?
