News I didn't want to hear! :ermm:

Just about to hit the road, hope to get to Buller tomorrow afternoon.....see you all there

BTW. I'll be be bringing cameras and spares etc to THC. So if anybody needs anything, just give a call on 0425 734 927 or come and see me at Car 708.

Yea mate got the same,,,cheeky girl is in love with roll cages and her hans now. She said something about running again in January.

Just very happy your wifey is okay mate !!!.

Cheers

Neil.

interestingly for the nsw-ers who know her too, Alex Hailstone (-alex on sau) was navigating in the other team car and had a great run in her first event.. excellent to hear Alex is still keen to be part of the scene, and diving right into it. props to her for getting in the silly seat of a rally mx-5

yeah same....imagine the naging I would get if she wasn't!

Matt....what is this faceplace you speak of?

I beleive it's called Facebook mate,,,while I am somewhat of a member,,,I only use it for Radical racing stuff. Dump is hurting SAU!!!.

Cheers

You do know, to stop the nagging, you just need to unplug the driver/navigator intercom right?

Facespace... That's facespace Drunkan :(

Extremely glad to hear she's all good, although, I feel sorry for the doctor who said she wasn't allowed out of the hospital to go drinking tonight!

Any word on exactly what happened? I understand head on into an embankment at speed, was this a mechanical failure or a normal racing incident?

I so wish I didn't get car sick whilst trying to read notes... It seems the easiest way to get into this stuff the fun way!!! As you encountered, even me trying to use a phone to browse the net for a minute or two made me ill and we were cruising on a public road!

Absolutely great to hear Alex went well, I was following her facebook postings, and initially thought she'd just gone down to spectate!

Hrm, now to find out the easiest way into it as a driver... If that won't work, official!

Well both driver and navigator confirmed it was not a navigator error.......so driver or mechanical failure :(

either way, scans and xrays came through last night and nothing serious.....no doubt she'll be very sore for a few days though
