We are deeply saddened to report that there has been a fatality at Targa Tasmania this morning.

We are currently working with the relevant authorities who will provide further information once next of kin have been advised.

Benji, I'm feeling for all of you down there mate. My condolences go out to the entire rallying community and loved ones. A sad day.

On the up side, you and Damo are having a great run mate. Keep up the excellent effort.

Say hi to all for me!

Devestating. Had dinner with John at Wrest Point back in Jan and can honestly say you would have trouble finding a truer gentleman.

Fingers crossed Tristan gets through the surgery unscathed.

Good speed today Ben, keep it up, we wanna see you beet that VW in front of you ;)

We are pretty happy with how it's all going ATM. I had no power steering for any of the proper stages this morning (spat the belt off), only got a replacement belt on at lunch for the last 2 stages.

Awesome first day Ben, especially given the power steer fail. GTST > GT3. Best of luck you you and the crew for the upcoming days.

Well my respect for Tony Quinn has gone up a long way after today's events.

Yesterday Tony and Naomi were canvassing other drivers for support in reducing speeds for saftey, and Tony said if there was another big accident he would head home.

Sure enough there was a big accident, and sure enough he has packed up and headed home. Good to see someone following through on talk when they beleive in it.

Very sad news indeed :(

Racing is racing however reducing speeds is not the answer, no one wants to travel all the way to Tasmania for a regularity.

Condolences to those involved.

P.S.

Good Work Sav Man and co, Win it for the Skylines !!!
