R33 S2 Spoiler Brake Light

called up nissian today to get a new led brake light for my series 2 r33 they wanted $400 was this guy lookign up the wrong put or is this correct has any1 bought one form nissan spare parts before? and how much did it cost?

think i should just go to a wreaker and get a 2nd hand one everyone agree

YES! but the wrecker MAY not sell you only the brake light as it would make the spoiler worthless, am i right?

wreckers definitely the best bet. You never know, they may separate the items (in attempting to make more money out of two sales)!

so u saying a r33 series 2 spoiler is the same as a nissian maximam brake light?? how much do they cost??

and MR FANNY ill post up details once it all go's smoothly and i have a new workign brake light or i could start a group buy thing so we can get them cheap if enough poeple need them

i wouldnt be surprised if the maxima fits. dosent have to be the same spoiler but same mounts, it would make sense to interchage parts to be cost effective. SKYLINE you should ask the guy if he is actually supplying you a maxima one..lol

el cheapo is el goodo. mine died so i opened it up and whacked the internals of a toyota one inside and it worked. unfortunately i did mutilate the housing just a tad but its out of sight. a brand new cheap replacement would be nice.
