I have a stock standard R34 GTT and i want to get some mods done. Couple of questions:

1. Is it possible to start of with exhaust then get the intercooler (and/or other mods) or do i need to get them all done at once?

2. If they find something wrong with the car (i.e. engine problem) can they fix it or do i need to take the car to a mechanic to get it fixed?

3. Is it wise to get a mechanic to go over the car to make sure everything is in working order before going to a tuning place or is the tuning place a one stop shop.

Cheers

hey mate

1: Most people do their mods in stages so you dont have to do them all at once. first mod is usually a turbo back exhaust, high flow cat and pod filter

second stage is intercooler, electronic boost controller and aftermarket computer

2: most mechanics should be able to fix problems with your car, the rb engine series is extremely easy to work on compared to other european engines.

3: Definitely get a tuning shop to go over your car pre-purchase. find a nice and trustworthy shop/owner and get them to do everything for you.

goodluck

Do it in stages as Johnny has said but remember one thing leads to another.

Get a full exhaust system and the air pod at the same time and that will help the car breath better.

As for the intercooler all for the better with a large front mount.

BTW don't worry about aftermarket blow off valves if that was your next question.
