R34 Fold Out Screen Mechanism

te car is a 98 skyline 4 door.

the idea is to add a pioneer double din and use the fold out screen as a slave.

As far as I know the pioneer cannot connect to the screen, so we'll add a new screen, but we want to keep the mechanism and simply put a switch on it to open and close it.

If there isn't any harnesses to connect the pioneer to the factory screen,

Does anyone know the pin outs so that we can use a switch, for the open and close mechanism, and what switch would suit?

I have the same issue with my car and if it is alright i might make a time to swing past and and see you Chris and get you to do it for me when i will be up there on holidays in October. Do you need a special head unit to work this as a dvd or will any brand that has a dvd player work with this system.

Cheers will do and will be in contact before i come and as for head unit i was looking at a JVC one that is on the cheaper side but still does play dvds and has ipod control.

thats fine make SURE it does NTSC OUTPUT though. it will be useless otherwise.

JVC are quite good, everything they sell is dual NTSC/PAL.....luckily as I bought one before thinking what I needed to wire into an MFD
