Hi,

Josh the owner of www.jsai.com.au manufactures their own bodykits as well as Nismo Z-Tune shape ones. If he can't help then contact Jetspeed, Bodyform or CarMate as a last resort.

Hope that helps.

Terry

I don't know too much about the 4 doors...

but it all depends on your budget...if you've got the money to spend, you can't go past the eastbear kit!

Im interested in this aswell, and have been researching for well over a year.

Front bar: No probs, same as a coupe (not GTR though, you need gtr fenders, bonnet and bonnet hinges to fit gtr style bumpers)

Side skirts: Couple of options, east bear, crossfactors and uras do side skirts for the 4door, and the wheel base is the same as the coupe so maybe you can mod coupe skirt to fit, not sure...

Rear bar: Same brands as side skirts, maybe modifications will allow you to fit coupe parts, again not sure...

ill hav alook at da custom jointz but considerin seellin it n settlin for an r33 wit da way things r goin

but thnx agen for all u guyz help

sorry ill spell properly for you guys okay lol

yehh i been considering the east bear kit man but i been quoted 6,600 for the full kit

i was wonderin if use new of any places dat make custom kits for cars because ive seen a mad gtr conversion on a 4door skyline and i wouldnt mind replecating something like it

and if anyone new how much around about a custom mad kit would set me bak for my car???

Im sure if you looked around a bit more the eastbear kit wouldnt be so expensive.

I got quoted about $3500 all up for paint and install as well. However this was off a friend, but nonetheless, the kit itself should cost around $2500 or thereabouts through most places.

Powerplay imports do them, although they might be a bit pricier, and also havent heard good stories about interstate customer communication. however they are a reputable company.

I would recommend the east bear kit as it is one of the few kits around that dont make your 34 look cheap and tacky. :(

do you know of any places that are selling it for cheaper because i rang powerplay imports and they are the ones that quoted me 6,600 i personally thought it was a bit pricey and was considering going custom and getting what i wanted

because im starting to consider selling up and settling for an r33 or something because i never thought id have this much trouble finding a nice kit for a skyline

Try C-Red in W.A, i got my East Bear front bar off Jeff.................

thanks man ill look into it...because i dont have all the cash for it know but im just starting to consider wether its worth keeping the four door or selling up and getting a 2door r34

    • Good morning all, Bit of a random question but figured I’d finally throw it out after wondering for a long while. Before I start, I'm hoping to do this purely out of personal preference. I think it would look better at night, and don't mind at all spending a few hours and dollars to get it done. I've copied this from a non-Skyline specific forum, so I apologize for the explanation of our headlight switch setup that we all know. Here we go: Zero lights (switch off) Parking lights (switch position 1) being a rectangular marker on the outside of the housing, my low beam being the projector in the centre (position 2), and a high beam triggered by my turn signal stalk. Most North American cars I’ve owned of this era have power to the amber corner (turning indicator) light as part of the first switch (parking lights). I’d love to have these amber corners receive power when the headlights and parking lights are on (headlight switch), yet still blink when using the turn signal which is of course a separate switch. Hopefully I’ve explained my question correctly. Is anyone aware of a way in which I might be able to achieve this? Thanks in advance
    • My heads are cathedral port! It's likely possible, but I don't want to add any extra moving parts (I know they don't move) between the heads, manifolds, etc. It will also affect how injectors/fuel rails etc sit and I don't really know if it would change how the FAST manifold goes/sits/fits. I have the LS6 steam pipes already as I have a very late LS1 block so it should be fine. I couldn't find anyone who had ever actually used one for this purpose, it seems 100% of people grind the water pump. The thermal spacers are 12mm and are half way to the cost of the newer water pump anyhow... so if it comes to that I suppose I'd rather buy a new pump. The bearing in the pump I do have is a little.. clunky, but it hasn't done that much time and I never noticed it when the car was together in the past few years, so..
    • The bushing has failed, not all that uncommon for a car of this age.  Any mechanic should be able to push in a new bushing for you, or you can probably buy the entire lower control arm, complete with bushes.
    • Could you not use "thermal" spacers to give the clearance, like the ones I used between the blower and head? That raised the manifold height by around 10-15mm Albeit the ones I used were for cathedral ports, but I assume they have similar for rectangular ports????
    • Thanks Paul I reached out to Autotainment but they no longer work on JDM cars as the guy who used to do the work moved on and is no longer doing that kind of work. I am talking with Level Up Audio though.
