Electrical Issue

hey guys

my headlights have recently started to flicker a little- they both go off for a split second at random times.

any ideas of what to check for?

your plugs may be loose. I had the same problem in mine and replaced the plug, it's fine now.

complience people... not there car they dont care... a mates s1 has this prob.. just play with wires behind the lights and see if u can locate the shizzled wire.... his wasnt hard

-maybe clean the terminals a little with a bit of sandpaper or points file.

-sometimes may need to re-crimp terminals a little to ensure good connectivity.

-follow the wires and check for britleness/cracking/corrosion.

i'm not certain its a conection issue- both headlights flicker at the same time. They have individual fuses, which i would think would be individial circuits... I think its a little more than just a bad connection??

are you sure they have individual fuses? it sounds like a dodgy fuse problem if they're going at the same time. otherwise maybe your light stalk on the steering column has a short / broken connection.

I would start checking where the wiring has been cut and the plugs changed to suit the r34 headlights from doing the r34 front end conversion

Might be a bad soilder joint etc
