Where might I get a 3 guage DIN plate?

A plate that fits in a standard DIN radio slot that you can mount three 50mm guages.

I'd like it to face towards the driver but whatever...

I have one of those in my car. Is black metal. Not sure where it came from - holds 3 50mm Defi gauges in place of the GTR central gauges.

Rocket industries in Sydney do a 3 gauge (52mm) panel. But it's made by autometer so expect to pay top dollar. I got a single gauge panel (VDO) from a company called Airco in Sydney, $8.40 inc GST. (the Autometer equivalent was $40) !!??

Didn't enquire about a 3 gauge panel, but if Airco have one, the price should be sweeeet.

go to a fibreglass supplier get 10cm of roll carbon fibre, and some resin and make it up, 3 layers should be enough!!

look sweet too, just need a flat surface and a something to roll it out with!!

Make your own, I did. A bit of MDF, some black vinyl to match the dash and a 2 inch hole saw. easy

I called them up. It's only a few bucks for a plastic VDO $3 panel.

Are you serious??? I just paid $131 for a HKS 3 din panel and my 2 1/16 inch autometer gauge doesn't fit, I had to cut the hole bigger. The HKS holder is only for 46mm gauges. The holder looks good but it doesn't even have HKS written on it for $131. What a ripoff???

I just rang Airco and they said that they only sell a plate that holds 3 x 52mm gauges but it doesn't fit in a DIN slot

They said that it's meant to be bolted under the dash or something

Looks like I might have to make my own up. Shame cause I wanted something in plastic to match the dash for that factory look. I've got a heap of 1mm aluminium sheeting that I can cut and get powder coated though....

Hmmmm, I'll have to do some thinking about it... I really would prefer plastic....

Does anybody know who sells those DIN pockets (to store things in) but with a flip up/down cover? Or just a plain DIN pocket/panel that clips in?
