basically man, nothing.

people are either too lazy to get it welded and plumbed in. or like me my wastegate was venting onto the bottom of the engine=lots of soot. so got it routed out of that position :)

got mine plumbed back about 4wks ago.

honestly man. no difference.

i think people believe it gives more powah because it 'sounds faster' :D

Actually Brad, thats where you are wrong, it can make quite a difference depending on circumstances.

If your exhaust is slightly restrictive, plumbing the gate in can cause problems. I know i lost a good amount of power plumbing mine in as i only had a 3" exhaust over 300rwkw which is pushing the relationship WITHOUT a gate because thats all i could fit.

Plumb the gate in, instant power loss due to the added backpressure in the system. Vent the gate, problem gone

That would only ever happen to you wouldn't it.

Yes it will effect it if there is a restriction. Get you exhaust fixed so there is no restriction. 3" exhaust is enough to supply 600hp.
