Opinion Needed!

Alright here is the situation, my brother turns 18 this Friday. We have planned to celebrate it in town and we are staying in a hotel for the Fri and Sat. Problem is he does not have an photo id...none..not even a license. So i rang today to find out about the proof of age card but they said that can take up to 10 days for the card itself to come.

He has an 2 month old expired passport but the picture of him on the passport is when he was 12/13. Looks have changed heaps since then so should he risk it and take the passport along with his birth certificate and a current photo if that helps..or should we move the entire thing to the next weekend where he will recieve his proof of age card by then??

Youd wanna wait til next week, a bouncer wont give you the time of day with a 6 year old passport photo and a birth certificate, hell they wont give you the time of day period. I vote to wait it out.

Apply for the proof of age card and postpone your night on the town. Get pissed at home this weekend. The night will only be a disappointment, especially if he still looks young

Yep, i was manager of a club (that will go unnamed) and thats the policy that all security will take on. If you don't have a current ID on you, you can forget about getting anywhere. Sorry Dude.
