Turbo question

I have just installed an 3037 PRO S to my GTST and now l am in the process of refabricating new water and oil lines. Does any one know wether copper line will be suitable for this application?

if u bought such a nice turbo y go cheap and use copper lines???

use braided lines.

Does the pro s actually fit the stock manifold and clearn from hitting on anything in the engine bay?

Yeah, go braided lines, Not cheap, but look great and will last a long time:D

if he could pay the money for a HKS GT3037 Pro S, i think he should be fine to pay for some braided lines

Yes the 3037 PRO S does fit on the standard manifold but, it requires a spacer plate to be made up because the compresor housing fouls against the manifold. When l was installing it l was quite surprised how much room l had to fit the turbo.

Hmm...I've never heard of the 3037 PRO S...I've only heard of the 3037 and 3037S. And I'm pretty sure both these turbos don't fit on the stock manifold as they both use GT30 outlet flanges. What's the difference between the PRO? Ahh...wait a sec, I think the PRO is the newer version...right? I think it's basically the same as the 3037S except it has an internal wastegate. Yeah???
