Hi all,

I've been intending on purchasing an oil temp and voltage guage for my N/A R34.

I came across a genuine triple guage set from a R34 GTT on ebay for a bargain so i decided to purchase it.

Does anyone here know how to wire it up? especially the oil temp guage. I imagine the volt meter would just splice into the cigarette lighter wiring.

-> and for those wondering about the boost guage - I'll probably just leave it (not wire it up) or find a clock of the same size

Cheers

Oil temp you'll need to grab a sender unit off a GTT or a GTR and screw it into the side of where the filter goes..then wire to the gauge.

Grab a boost sensor of an R33/R33 and wire that to the boost sensor, at least it'll show vacuum.

Thanks for that. Would you happen to know the part numbers? and are these sensors easy to install - in terms of no drilling or needing to fabricate anything?

Yeah thats true. I just bought 3 cups, and 3 gauges which came with the car but were'nt installed.

Got DRC to install them for me. Just 100 bucks, i didnt mind because i didnt want the headache.

No idea on part numbers, just got to a wreckers....boost sensor is drivers side rear-corner on the engine bay behind the strut tower, the oil temp sensor is a small can looking thing with a wire going to it, joined to the alloy ring that the oil-filter screws into.

Should be zero drilling, just running wires
