Hey guys I got a cometic mls 1.3mm headgasket that has been on my car for no more than 100km before I had an engine fire. I have purchased a new engine, will this headgasket be alright to fit to the new engine, along with the arp stud and nut kit that has done the same amount of km's??

as long as it wasnt damaged in the fire it should be fine. studs im not sure about, but i dont think they are those 'stretch' type so i would say that you can use them too. just ring up cometic and ARP, get a definitive answer from someone who'll know 100%

New headgasket regardless how long its been on the car, once it has been torqued down onto the head, taking it off and trying to reuse it isnt a good idea, and for the cost of $300 or so to get a new one its a lot better than having to take the head off again a week later.
