We can provide competitors with honorary day membership to MGEC (included in the $230 fee) if you are not a member of a current CAMS affiliated car club. Competitors NEED to be a member of a CAMS affiliated car club in order for your CAMS licence to be valid.

The entry fee is:

$190 per MGEC member driver.

$220 for non-MGEC members who are members of a CAMS affiliated club.

$230 non-car club member (entry includes day membership to MGEC).

So the only things a competitor will need for this event to enter (if you are not a member of a CAMS affiliated car club) is a L2S CAMS Licence $95 (Apply at www.cams.com.au) + the $230 fee which provides you with CAMS affiliation for the day.

Please Note: The Phillcom Rally Time Attack is a Timed Speed Event and requires a L2S or L2SJ or higher CAMS Licence to compete. The Level 1 single event day licence is only able to be used at an event that has a specific non-competitive section to the event. Due to the competitive nature of this event the Phillcom Rally Time Attack Committee are unable to provide entrants with single day CAMS licences.

Hope this helps!

So that means Chad is right, $325 for those who aren't in a CAMS affiliated club and don't have a CAMS license.

If i enter its going to cost me at least $325, cos i will have to get a cams licence, as they cant do day licences for this event

i reckon that sums it up

It seems like it is pricey at $325, but you will have a CAMS licence that lasts a year. If you plan on doing any motorsport in the future you will need a CAMS Licence anyway. Or you will be stuck paying the $25 day licence everytime for prac days etc.

This would be an awesome way to test out my new setup but I'd probably get disqualified for over steer again and I don't want to commit myself to something when my car isn't even running properly yet.

ha ha ha im going evo hunting!!!!! a little birdie told me some journo's from motor magazine are going to be there!!!! something to do with the evo 10
