well yesterday i was doing an oil change and when i removed the filter i spilt alot of oil so i attacked it with degreaser. how ever i hadnt put the sump bolt back in and it was all dripping down underneath. well as i was putting the bolt in i felt something drip on my face and run into my ear. at first i didnt do anything about it although i did realise it was a mixture of oil and degreaser. about 10 minutes later after filling the motor up and going inside to give my ear a clean and a flush out i was in the most excruciating pain i have ever experianced. i rush my self to the doctor told them what happened. i was lucky to not have had the degreaser eat away at the inside of my ear, i was in pain for about 3 hours now i am feeling semi deaf and have swollen ear drum and canal. and it was the most expesive oil change i have done. doctors are cheap after hours... so try avoid getting oil and degreaser in the ear.
