Hey,

I was looking for some new seats and found on www.justjap.com some JJR Circuit Type Racing Seats. They are only $200 each and come with a universal rail. I was just wondering if the universal rail needs to be modified or will it bolt straight up? I also found that the universal rails by them selfs are $175 each, so seems weird that the seat is so cheap...

Did a little search and found that not many people use the universal rails. Everyone said they needed to cut and weld pieces together. They also said it made the seat sit alot higher. Still tempted to get the seat and try my luck but not sure...

Does anyone know what needs to be cut and welded? If its only a few pieces of metal then that would be fine...

Also does anyone know about the seat sitting to high? Can that be changed?

Cheers! :)

bride rails all the way... solid, work good, straight bolt in of course, worth the money...

$200 for a full bucket seat, you'll get what you pay I guess, considering decent ones are $800 plus

but in saying that sumtimes bride and sparco seats get sold as cheap rip factory second rips offs aswell.... personally i wouldnt buy a seat till ive sat in one the same to see how rigid they are and wat sorta padding is in them.... my 2cents
