dmr
Whats the turbos HP rated at? the old turbo is rated at 440HP/20PSI, but having new Garrett T04E internals it is rated more because it can hold up to 30PSI. dmr
time to revive this topic! after being off the road for a long time i finally got around to getting it tuned. here is some new info: Year: 1993 Make: Nissan Model: Skyline HR32 GTS-t Type M Milage: 135,000 km Engine: silver top RB20DET Transmission: 5 speed manual - no crunches etc Differential: viscous LSD 4.3:1 gear ratio - still very tight Colour: gunmetal grey KH2 Location: northern suburbs, Melbourne Registration: till July 2009 (can be negotiated) Price: $13,500 NEGOTIABLE Contact details: PM or SMS 0432 326 673 -------------------------------------------------- ENGINE: - fresh rebuilt TR43 (with T04E internals from Rotomaster, Feb 09) 440+HP/30PSI, internal waste-gate turbo with 15PSI actuator - low mount & hidden under heat shield - 600x300x75mm front mount intercooler - (hidden) Turbotech manual boost controller - Z32 air flow meter - Standard airbox with CAI feed inside bumper duct - 3" metal intake pipe - hidden inside factory rubber intake pipe - R34 GTR injectors and resistor pack - Bosch 019 fuel pump - Oil catch can - atmo lines hidden - Adjustable cam gears (inlet and exhaust) - Exedy heavy duty cushion button clutch EXHAUST: - 3" single chamber dump and front pipe - 3" hi-flow catalytic converter - 3" Nismo SS cat back exhaust with Magnaflow rear muffler SUSPENSION & HANDLING: - Volk Racing AV series dished rims (17"x8" front, 17"x9" rear) - very rare - KYB Gear Climb coilovers - legal height, awesome feel - Whiteline front strut brace - R33 front LCA's - 2.5deg neg camber and added traction - HICAS lock bar BODY: - GTR N1 front bar - Type M sideskirts - Type M rear pods INTERIOR: - Legal tinted windows - Momo steering wheel - Leather gear/ebrake boots - Drift handbrake button - Black dash mat - custom made, perfect fit - Apexi pen turbo timer - 2.5" Autometer phantom boost gauge - Alarm, immobilizer, keyless entry - Genuine Skyline floor mats AUDIO: - Audioline 800w 4 channel amp - Pioneer head unit & remote - 4" Kenwood splits in door trims - 2" tweeters in door trims - 2x 8" subs on a custom made wood parcel shelf which has been professionally carpeted. HISTORY: - 2nd owner of 2+ years since it landed here from japan. - Brought stock standard from Driftline Racing in December 2006 and have been a valuable customer ever since. Roshan will be happy to back this up. - Very fussy owner, everything done to spec. - Excellent condition with low kilometres. The engine is pulling as strong as the day i brought it. (145PSI all cylinders) - Serviced every 5,000km using Castrol Edge Sport, Ryco filters and NGK BCPR7ES spark plugs. Near new Bendix ultimate brake pads on front and rear. - Never come across any major problems or issues. All worn parts are replaced asap. - Always warmed up properly in the mornings and let cool down after driving. - Car is set up for street/drift/circuit and handles awesome, though it has never seen a drag strip or race track. - Everything looks standard to keep the wrong attention away. - Also comes with extra/standard parts (standard injectors, standard dump/front exhaust, standard front bar, SMIC intercooler, standard bov + whatever else I can find in the garage) TUNE: - After being off the road for 6 months, the seals on the turbo went dry as they do. And since the TR43 I had was incorrectly installed previously with an oil restrictor in the oil feed line, it caused the dry seals to wear out instantly. I went straight to Tao from Hypergear who got the turbo full rebuilt (wheels, shaft, bearings, seals, backplate, etc) with Garrett T04E internals from Rotomaster. - Straight before the tune the car was fitted with new adjustable cam gears, new Gates Racing timing belt, new engine belts and a new battery. - ECU was tuned in March 09 by Trent at Status Tuning in Dandenong which took proper care with the car and tuned it very safely on a steady 11.5AFR. Car made 208.8rwkW/280bhp/364Nm on only 15PSI. Trent said that my exhaust was a little restrictive which caused slight less power than expected, but I prefer to have a decrease in power rather than having a straight exhaust which would get me pulled over by cops 24/7. - Can produce a proven 240rwkw on 21PSI with a more aggressive tune. I had no need for that power so no use me pushing for it. Since I did everything from scratch, this will be a very regretful sale. With no time on my hands and trying to get a business going means I can't enjoy it sitting here so it's time to pass it on and use the money elsewhere. If you have interest or any questions, feel free to SMS me anytime or call after 6PM. No time wasters or lowballers please. Genuine buyers only! PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE! -------------------------------------------------- cheers Edited March 17, 2009 by dmr Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/229490-1993-nissan-skyline-hr32-gts-t-type-m-melbourne/#findComment-4481925 Share on other sites
