Fm Converter Thingy For Jap Radio

Hi, my R34 GTR came from Japan with a Pioneer mini disc player. The radio in it picks up AM frequency but nothing on FM.

I think I can get a converter or something for it from Jaycar etc to pick up FM but someone told me they dont always work???

Anyone got any info on this??

What they do is bring the frequencies down 20 or so

so 100.3 becomes 80.3 on your radio... should work fine... this was year ago but I vaguely remember mine having a few crackles

they work fine got 1 in my car just as said above it will display 80.3 when you are listening to 100.3

I installed one the other day, i got it it from supercheap for 30 bucks ... it works ... brand name is Aerpro

in my case it crackels a bit on some stations ...

check it on ebay ..

its very easy to install ... just one wire to connect ...

Or alternatively go with a new head unit and fm aerial extension module.

My new pioneer deck works perfect in the GTR and all FM stations are read as per normal
