Hey all, my current turbosmart bov has an adaptor plate on it for the stock hole and its glued on by some really tough glue.

I want to remove the adaptor plate so I can put my new bov on which doesn't require a plate.

How can I loosen the plate without getting liquid on my coilovers?

Thanks!

Umm... lol.... well im guessing the glue has gone hard, so you might need to use a knife to try and cut into it. Like cut away the glue and then should be all sweet! Must be pretty strong as well if it’s been on your car for awhile. Might be to strong to heat up...

Does the BOV link air where its glued? Without bolts I couldn’t imagine it being very tight... lol

Take the cross over pipe off (assuming its a GTST with BOV in stock position) and do the work on a bench, that way nothing will fall on your coil cover.

Try heating it up with a heat gun, use a flat screw driver and push it between the gap and see how you go.
