i was just curious to know if there is a way to calculate a "there abouts" quarter mile time using stats from a car... Power & weight.

i do understand it alot comes down to drivers ability traction and so forth... but lets scrap all the variables and leave it down to power and weight... every car has a limit as to how fast it could go down a quarter no matter who drives it.

is there some sort of equation that could calculate something like this?

10.92 :)

I would say that computer program likes me and knows i wanna do a 10 lol

10.9 is fine with me  but i should be able to crack a 10 70

i'm running 12.5. easy :( obviously its not gonna be very accurate with only 2 inputs.

guilt toy. what did it spit out for you, compared to your actual time?

dude, it's challenging you !!!

hahahaa thats going by 2rismo's estimated weight in pounds he posted in my thread.

aparently im an 11.4... we will have to wait and see.

mine is pretty close to what times i am expecting so get some slicks and some drag radials and off you go

pretty accurate...i put in my 3300lb to my 670whp and it says 9.91...my best is 9.95 but thats holding the car back by holding 3rd gear...so on a proper run id say a 9.9 flat is on the money.

put my new wheel hosepower in and weight 3300/900 and it says ill run a 8.9...yeehaa
