Quick Compliance Question

Hey guys. Just a quick question. does anyone know if jap imports get ecu de-tuned for compliancing to suit our fuel?

Basically i'm getting an autech s15 in soon. its on its way from japan. will be here in about 3 weeks. so when it gets here its going straight to the workshop for compliance. only things that i'm worried about is it getting detuned.

They do not touch the ecu however most cars arrive with a flat battery so ecu will reset itself unless it is aftermakret like PFC
