Hi all

I'm running a turbosmart B/C and the standard item is now not in use ( just have abit of vacuum hose going from one nipple to the other).

So as per the heading can i remove it (to tidy up the bay abit)..

At the moment its still plugged in an im unsure whether it needs to be plugged in (still running standard ECU) or if i can simply unplug and remove the unit just leaving the wire loom inplace???

will this have an effect on anything I.E the ecu if i simply drive around with it unplugged..

Thanks in advance..

Corey.

I wouldn't worry about it, just rip the bugger out

Your ecu won't even know its gone,.

I've got mine wired to a switch which I use when I have to use 91 octane (when the local runs out of premium).

so simply uplugging it and takine the solenoid out is fine??

has anyone been running their car without this plugged in and on standard ecu... just to make sure

thanks for the info munkyb0y..

EDIT: and Mr Jollwah

Corey

I've driven around for a couple of weeks with it off before without problem.

Can u think of some thing that u need switched a 4500rpm, U could use the ecu to control it.
