been surfing around TakaKaira, in the SARD section they have this "Sports Oil Filter". It boasts all sorts of 'improvements' over a conventional filter..reinforced this & that....mainly higher filtration/better flowing...and some i've seen in Option mags even say you only have to change them every 10ks?? Some even some with magnets etc etc...

Anybody have any views on this...or have tried those before?

Are all oil filters made equal? Or should the money be saved and go towards better oils?:bahaha:

i belive they do make a difference in the long run.Hence magnets...gather particles that are the usuall signs of wear and tear (thoe they dont collect everything) they do a good job. If i had a shop in melbourne that sell them, i would be more than happy to purchase them...only $10 more or something like that. Small and effective working items.

if u r worried about the fine metal, then u can always stick a strong magnet to the side of the oil fillter.

i dont really like these types of mods, if thats what u want to call it.

if u wana look after the motor u just need to change the oil and fillter every 5000 km, and also i like changing plugs, fuel and air fillters every 10000.
