best value brake fluid is the Penrite Sin 600deg for about $16 a bottle last time I bought some. Worked great in the heavy GTR at QR which is reknowned for being hard on brakes. Previously with new DOT4 fluid the pedal got long on the 2nd lap. With the Penrite I still had a great pedal after 7 laps - long after the pads had faded.

harry I've used penrite Sin and thought it was pretty good too. not as good as motul but its in the top 5 of brake fluid I have tried, and at $16 a bottle it would be a bargain

So I took your guys advise..

Ran the Penrite SIN brake fluid.. fixed my gympy 4th gear I got from last wakie day.. and got a better set of semi's.. also I removed the dust cover things over the brakes for better cooling..

Weight stripped was:

Entire boot

Back seat

Passener seat

Also sorted was my suspention set up..

I was lucky enough to get assistance from a more experinced driver too..

By the end of the day I was braking much later and harder than last time..

I can also safley say that it was with out a doubt one of the quickest cars on the day through the twisties..

What did all this equate to?

1:18.7!

haha good work. 1.18 is pretty good pace for the car. but its mostly about practice you can probably knock another second off with more practice / training
